Academic Expectations and Success

ASU students are usually accustomed to written homework assignments and regular testing as part of their course workload. In UNSW courses the workload may be more focused on researching and analyzing many reading assignments. While some classes have weekly assessments note that others may have one major written exam/assessment at the end of the term, and the grade in the course is entirely based on the grade  earned on that assessment.  Exams at UNSW are typically in essay format, and do not normally include short-answer or multiple-choice questions.
