Master of Arts in Global Security

The Master of Arts in Global Security, offered by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Arizona State University prepares students to respond to the multitude of causes of conflict around the globe. More than 100 experts from ASU have combined their experiences and knowledge to create this degree program so that students receive perspective from multiple fields including political science, history, law, public policy, religious studies, and engineering. Students of the Master of Arts in Global Security explore security theory and current global events from the perspective of military, former government officials, journalists and scholars. This fully-online format engages students in policy-oriented discussions and debates to prepare them for careers in military leadership positions, risk assessment, political leadership, and professions benefitting human rights and human aid or international development.
