For the ninth year in a row, Arizona State University is No. 1 in innovation in the newly released annual “Best Colleges” 2024 rankings by U.S. News & World Report.

ASU continues to uphold its charter driving forward excellence, access and impact as the New American University. The innovation ranking recognizes these efforts and is based on innovative improvements across the university in curriculum, faculty, students, campus life, technology and facilities.
In the past year, ASU has announced the development of a new School of Medicine and Advanced Medical Engineering, a Materials-to-Fab center, has received a $90.8 million research award for X-ray technology, is leading the Arizona Water Innovation Initiative and has created new learning opportunities through YouTube via Study Hall.
