An international advisory board for the PLuS Alliance comprising of noted leaders from the UK, US and Australia has been reappointed for a second term. The board is:
Sir Malcolm Grant (Chairman), Chancellor of York University, a senior adviser on higher education to the French and Russian governments, and a former President and Provost of UCL and immediate former Chairman of NHS England.
Dr Gail Kelly, a senior global adviser to UBS, a director of Singapore Telecommunications, a member of the Group of Thirty and a former CEO of the Westpac Group.
The Rt. Hon. Charles Clarke, a consultant on international education for Cambridge Assessment International and Cambridge University Press and a former UK Secretary of State for Education and Skills.
Dr Ellen Levy, CEO of Silicon Valley Connect and an investor and adviser on a suite of start-ups in the US. Dr Levy has been described as the most connected woman in Silicon Valley.
The Managing Director of the PLuS Alliance, Mr Paul Ramadge, said " the re appointments were a cause for celebration as the advisers have become an integral part of the growth of the Alliance, from a start-up to an organisation with major achievements." In the next three-year phase for the Alliance, the Advisory Board members will provide guidance and support on governance and strategy as PLuS builds global partnerships and extends its impact.
