Systems engineering focuses on defining needs and customer requirements early in the development cycle. This flexible online "anytime, anyplace" program was designed with input from global corporations and targets professionals leading major complex systems development or programs at their companies.

The Master of Engineering in quality, reliability, and statistical engineering offers specialized courses founded on basic engineering and statistics principles that are central to improving quality, reliability and achieving meaningful results in today's modern business organizations. The program is designed to prepare you for a wide spectrum of opportunities in product and service realization, including engineering design, product and process development, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, and supply chain operations.

You will learn how modern statistical and engineering techniques are deployed in a wide range of industrial and business settings, along with the basic underlying methodology to develop novel solutions to unique problems. You can also design a program of study that includes a Six Sigma Black Belt professional certification in addition to your graduate degree.

The Master of Engineering degree program seeks individuals who can "LEAD" successful business units, portfolios, programs, and projects including new product development and introduction. To be successful one must couple a foundation of solid analytical skills with a leadership/management style that stimulates collaboration. The Master of Education in curriculum and instruction: gifted education prepares teachers, school administrators, school psychologists, behavior analysts, and family members to work effectively with gifted children. You will gain the theory and pedagogy needed to identify and serve gifted children and the knowledge and skills required to develop and provide the most current instructional methods and services.

The program is designed for educators, administrators, therapists and family members who fill important roles in the lives of gifted children. Faculty understand gifted students require differentiated instruction and teach how to develop and reach their potential.

As a graduate of the program, you will learn how to be an advocate in your own schools for gifted students and gain the tools to identify potential and address specific needs of students that are either talented or gifted. You will also learn how to create gifted programs based on the needs of your school district and learn how to work with administrations, school boards and parents.

The Educational Technology program prepares individuals to design, develop, and evaluate learning technology environments, systems, applications and instructional materials for a variety of formal and informal educational settings. The Master of Education program in educational technology emphasizes grounded instructional strategies rooted in established theories of learning, design and development of competency-based instructional materials, and application and evaluation in applied settings. Through projects that provide opportunities to take on authentic, real-world challenges, students apply current research and learning theories to the practice of learning and instructional design, together with the use of emerging technologies.

The Master of Education in educational leadership, principalship degree is designed for aspiring principals or teachers interested in becoming leaders in their schools and districts. Through this degree program, you will learn to successfully manage the challenges of curriculum development, interpret and use test results, interact with the community, and lead other teachers to achieve school goals.

The online principalship concentration is ideal if you are looking to complete the coursework and field experiences required to attain principal certification but take advantage of the college’s internet-based coursework. All options are designed to prepare teachers to meet Arizona requirements for principal or supervision certification. If you are interested in the online program and are seeking certification in a state other than Arizona, you should contact your state department of education to determine the principal or supervision certification requirements prior to applying.

The Master of Education in curriculum and instruction is offered fully online, pairing flexibility with academic excellence. This master's program will prepare you to meet the educational, social and emotional needs of children from birth through 8 years old. Through online coursework, applied activities, and in-person clinical experiences, the program will equip you with specialized skills and advanced knowledge in early childhood pedagogy, community collaboration, technology, administration, policy analysis and advocacy. The master's degree is appropriate for students interested in learning about early childhood education research and working with infants and children in grades K-3. This track may be of interest if you already have a teaching certificate and are interested in furthering your knowledge and skills or pursuing doctoral studies in the future.

The Master of Education in curriculum and instruction: autism spectrum disorders equips individuals with specialized skills and knowledge to work effectively and compassionately with children and adults affected with autism.

The steady rise in the number of those affected by autism has caused a public demand for professionals who are aware of the issues and needs facing these special individuals, their families and service providers. As a graduate of this program, you will be well prepared to provide important services and care for individuals with any of the autism spectrum disorders, either as educators, interventionists, psychologists, speech pathologists, behavior analysts, or family members.

You will complete a practicum customized to individual interests and abilities. The program culminates with a creation of a portfolio that demonstrates analysis and synthesis of material learned in the master’s program and evidence of competency in the six Council for Exceptional Children autism standards.

NOTE: Students interested in sitting for the national Board Certified Behavior Analyst examination should apply for the Master’s in curriculum and instruction: applied behavioral analysis focus or the applied behavior analysis graduate certificate, depending on interest and need.

The Master of Education in curriculum and instruction: applied behavior analysis (ABA) pairs research and experience to prepare you to work professionally with individuals with special learning and behavior needs using the principles of applied behavior analysis. Program courses prepare you to focus on the population with whom you plan to work, as well as to gain knowledge and skills to use ABA across a variety of individuals and settings. You will be well prepared to provide evidence-based practices in ABA and consultative services and support to clients, community members and family members across a variety of settings.
