The electronics industry has grown to become a $2 trillion-dollar market, exceeding investments made in other industries such as transportation or steel. The online Masters of Science in materials science and engineering offers you an opportunity to advance in this fast-growing field and provides an in-depth study of materials science and engineering topics.

The required coursework covers four subjects: advanced thermodynamics, structure and mechanical properties; kinetics and phase transformations and materials physics. Electives allow students to tailor their program of study to their individual research interests.

The Bachelor of Arts in organizational leadership will prepare you for leadership positions in a wide range of organizations and career fields. You will develop skills that can be used to help organizations function successfully, including problem solving, effective communication, program assessment, resource management and how to use emerging technologies. In your senior year, you will participate in small-group study and research, craft projects that demonstrate the skills and knowledge you have developed in the degree and construct portfolios in which you will argue, "In light of the degree learning outcomes, here is what I have learned, and here is evidence that I have learned." You will also learn to write proposals and reports, communicate effectively within organizations and practice ethical decision-making.

A sophisticated understanding of mass communication is a critical asset for careers in business, government, community and the non-profit sectors. As a student in the Mass Communication and Media Studies program, you will examine a variety of media and communication subjects including History of Mass Communication, Social Media, and Political Communication.

With courses taught by top-tier faculty, this program is designed to give you a deep and nuanced understanding of the growing importance, power, influence and changing nature of media in the world. Program courses include: Media Issues in American Pop Culture, Race, Gender, and Media, and Visual Communication.

The online MS in Nutrition (Dietetics) is based on scientific foundations of nutrition and reinforces essential skills in project management, interpretation of research literature, critical inquiry and problem-solving. This non-thesis program is available only to registered dietitians with at least one year of experience. The online Master of Science in Nutrition is designed with the working professional in mind, placing particular emphasis on advancing student-specific practitioner skill sets to promote individual career goals.

Students will develop competencies in research methods and advanced-practice knowledge in their specific area of study. The program culminates in an applied project, allowing students to design and evaluate specific nutrition interventions in the workplace utilizing knowledge and skills in nutrition assessment, lifestyle management and chronic disease prevention. The Bachelor of Arts in history is an interdisciplinary degree designed to give you an understanding of the development of human society and the political, social, economic, and cultural dynamics that influence today’s complex world. The curriculum is firmly based in the humanities and involves the critical, historical, and comparative study of texts, practices and contexts, as well as the natural and social sciences. This is a transfer-friendly program that is ideal for students looking to complete their degree or for those with family and career responsibilities.

The global nature of this program is incorporated anthropologically - to understand disease, health and well-being in ways that incorporate a variety of cultures, places, and time along with their social, biological, historical, and ecological significance. The curriculum focuses on developing skills in teamwork, problem solving, critical thinking, and the importance of direct experience through research, study abroad, or related activities. As a global health student, you'll cultivate the ability to approach complex problems through social components by identifying issues, asking questions, and collaborating with others to create effective solutions. Graduates in global health are optimistic about the impact they can have and acquire the skill set needed to make a difference through innovative and creative methods.

Please note that as a global health student, you are required to participate in an approved experiential or practical component, which can be fulfilled by an approved global health study abroad program or an alternate arrangement for those who cannot study abroad.

The Master of Science in graphic information technology targets graphics professionals, supervisors and managers in a graphics or technology-oriented area who need advanced expertise in administering and managing digital content.

This online degree program is ideal for military personnel, government employees, and graphics or technology educators. Students come to the online program with expertise in digital photography, web design and development, print technology, multimedia, informational graphics, graphic sales and management, technical and scientific visualization, or other creative or technical backgrounds.

The MS in graphic information technology program begins six times per year and a GRE score is required at the time of application.
